After the end of Buddhist Lent /Wan Khao Phansa/ (3 months during the rainy season that monks need to stay in one place), it's time for big celebrations everywhere in Thailand. In the area of Pai in northern Thailand, it was like a small fest for a couple of days gathering all the people from the valley and surrounding hill villages. One of the main attractions was Muay Thai fights, but they are based more on respect and friendship, than on a fight and sports aggression. All the photos are made in one single night with very poor lightning with only a couple of lights.
