Prajna is a Buddhist term derived from the ancient Indian Sanskrit (Sanskrit) words "prajñā" and Pali "pannya". In Japan, these words are written in kanji (Chinese characters) that match their sounds, and the word "prajna" has come to be known as "prajna. It means "wisdom of the Buddha. The wisdom of the Buddha is said to be the enlightenment attained as a result of various practices.
The mask of Hannya is not only scary, but also expresses the two sides of a demoness's mind with the top and bottom of her face. It contains the shame and embarrassment of having unwillingly become a demon, as well as the sorrow and sadness of a human being at the mercy of his/her passions.
