Artist Note: Mel NYC ‘87. Digital 2D, JPEG | 4575x6193 pixels. 2022 When I think of NYC I think of hip hop. I listened to Nas’ Illmatic nonstop when working on these pieces. It had to be in the late 80s, in the PJs, have a court, huge boombox and graffiti! So these 2 pieces have a lot of crypto, NFT refs, all the stuff that have totally changed my career. You could say these are a huge remix of everything I love in this space, mixed up with my love for God, life and my family. Huge thanks to Josie and Pranksy for including me in these NFTBoxes!
