The way of life of Japanese women is complex and challenging to describe.
I have watched my grandmothers, aunts, and sisters live in the traditional Japanese society they have cultivated for a long time. Even though we are not caged, Japanese culture and customs are what suppress the freedom of thought of women. I conveyed those feelings in a Machina collection, using Manga-style characters that have their roots in Japanese printmaking. to reflect the environment of history and culture
A female character takes on the role of a robot with wires connected to the body; I chose to use wires to convey the power or people behind the lives of women. which is anyone not necessarily male but maybe a woman herself
I opted for the intertwined curves as the tassel element that conveyed the complexity, the mess, and the obligation of a woman she could not avoid.
