Blue Bay

The rain touches my skin, and every surface of the land. Water permeates this island. I walk along the shore and over the cliff tops. Surrounded by the sparking reflection of the skies, the lull of the current stirred by the breeze and the sheer vastness of the ocean, I inhale the scent of the early summer earth mingled with salt air. With the cry of the herons and the mew of the gulls echoing in my mind, I hold the moment. Once captured, the visual memory becomes my art.
