The dramatic Lindis Pass links the Mackenzie Basin with Central Otago. Most road trips around New Zealand's South Island will pass this way.

This is a unique landscape unlike anywhere else in New Zealand.

Snow is only present here for a short time each year and at random. I have traveled this way countless times but never had good lighting conditions, or snow!
