This collection means so much to me. I was living in the Waitakere Ranges whilst pregnant with my first born 21 years ago. It was so remote for me and I was away from my family, not feeling my best. I decided rather than feeling sorry for myself I would get my camera out and capture the beauty that was in front of me, which was Auckland skyline and the Waitemata Harbour. Focusing on the clouds below me I felt like I was in heaven. It's obvious looking back that my camera and this view combined got me through a very difficult period of my life. I am always grateful for the gift of photography.
