The Layers of Wadi Rum.

This beautiful desert is located south of Jordan near the Red Sea and Aqaba. It was formed over the years due to the superposition of layers of sandstone on a granite base. Carved by runoff of rainwater and the abrasive effect of sand storms.

After touring this amazing Desert all day, we decided to find a nice spot to watch the sun set. Our guide took us to this majestic viewpoint which gave an incredible panoramic view, and off in the distance i noticed the layers of all the different hills and rocks... so i stuck on my 70-200mm. lens, found a composition I liked, and captured this image.
