Nothing quite compares to the feeling that is being home. After 3 years of being away from the Philippines, my home for the first 18 years of my life, the feeling I felt stepping foot back on these islands was truly indescribable.

This piece was captured on my most recent trip back home in the beautiful island of Coron, Palawan.

At 6 AM one morning, I jumped on a kayak with my drone, made my way out to explore the surrounding lagoons and came across this secluded little beach tucked away close by.

I couldn't help but notice just how picture-perfect and ‘3D-like’ the entire scene looked.

I was met with crystal clear blue waters and a backdrop filled with the most dramatic limestone cliffs and lush green foliage. I knew from the moment I saw it, that I would capture something truly special from this one of a kind place.

Everything that you see in this image is real and showcases the unique unworldly islands treasures of the Philippines.
