Quite some time ago I was in the Amazon jungle on the Peru side of the Andes. I was with a friend who was from a small village deep in the jungle called Sepahua on the Rio Urubamba. I had the pleasure of spending a week in his home town with him. One thing that constantly caught my attention was the absolute abundance of life teaming everywhere. The insects were especially interesting. Often I would ask about what they would call a certain bug because it was so beautiful or interesting. And every time he would look at me nonchalantly and just say "insecto". I would reply, "yes, yes. I know it is an insect, but what 'kind'? What do you call this kind?" and his reply as always was the same, with a shrug of his shoulders and all the patience in the world, he would say, "insecto".

I wanted to make a small fun collection in honor of Oscar (where ever you may be). I present to you..... Insecto.
