I want to reflect the face of the creator, his heart and sense of self with this art. My hero is not a painter, but any creator who gives something to the world.
The character burns with her art, her inspiration. She brings this fire to the artwork and leaves in it a part of herself that will forever exist inside this work. Just as when we create a human child, we pass on our genetic code to him, so when we create an art, we put our cultural, artistic view and personal imprint in it.
It's about losing something and finding a lot. We are never the same after a long and exhausting act of creation. The artist burns and is reborn as a phoenix in the process of creating. It is satisfying, painful, and necessary. This is the act of a real, important, heart-rending creativity. We can speak to each other in the language of the soul through this.
“I know how incredibly hard it can be to try to create something deep and real. I know, and I'm going into it. I'm an artist.”
