The blue hour is normally a brief moment following the golden hour we photographers love so much. Its true that the gold one is normally most wanted but the blue sister is capable of providing beautiful moods just as well. I took this shot on Iceland where blue hours really get a new meaning as the so called midnight sun provides an almost never ending time to capture these moments. This was one of those episodes. This place is the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón. A peacefull lagoon where all you can hear is silence and, at times, the cracking of the ice blocks. This day was special as the not only we had this beautiful icy scenario but also the sky provided the perfect painting for this frame.⁠
