× if you gaze at this while listening to Ghost Hardware you will see how at times it aligns with certain sounds, then falls behind, misses a beat, frustrates your sense of rhythm, just to catch a moment of clarity again, sizzling.

Commissioned by Xer0x (@Xer0x_NFT) for UNTRUE, a series of works which draw inspiration from Harmony Korine's Gummo and Burial's Untrue.

(My contribution ended up being quite personal and more Untrue than Gummo, as that album has been with me since its release days. My first hearing of Burial on night radio was one of those defining memories and Xer0x's commission caused an intense period of re-hearing, leading me to also find the interview Burial gave to Mark Fisher in 2012, which is present in the animation as well.)
