Guest No. 26. Mr. Knight in a dream. Mr. Knight in a dream is a melancholic and taciturn guest. He comes to watch my dreams and show his own. His dreams are full of adventures and romantic stories. There are castles, dragons, roses and their thorns, and, of course, beautiful damsels in distress. My dreams are not as beautiful; they contain sadness, sorrow, pain, and just a glimmer of hope. He blends our visions, carefully, like a perfumer adding drops of his and my dreams into a bowl, creating a beautiful fragrance, picture, and places. He is a kind guest, he wants to help, and sometimes he succeeds. Sleep well, my kind knight, and may you dream of roses without thorns.
