As Glitch walked through the grand, glitchy courtyard of the university, a loud crash echoed from nearby. Glitch turned just in time to see a girl with fiery red hair in long flowing twin tails come bursting out of the chemistry lab, a trail of smoke following her.

"BLAZE!!!" Glitch shouted, recognizing her best friend immediately. Blaze grinned, waving a beaker in one hand, which was still smoking ominously.

"Hey, Glitch! Can you believe it? First day and I already made something explode! I was just trying to make a simple potion, but, uh… it kinda went boom." Blaze’s eyes sparkled with excitement, clearly unfazed by the chaos she had caused.

Glitch couldn’t help but laugh. "Leave it to you to turn a first-day experiment into a fireworks show."

After dusting off their uniforms and extinguishing all the fires, they decided to walk to their next class together.
