By the beginning of the census campaign, it was not possible to meet Brity with a clear look - a black patch replaced at least one eye of each individual. Their thoughts, behavior, reasoning, attitude towards others, towards themselves, towards life — all this became dark in an instant! But Mr. Lived declared victory early. A small group of brave Brities opened up resistance, trying to beat this damn crap out of themselves!

PROJECT DETAILS

'Get Out of My Head' generative animated collection in its art component is the search for new solutions, transfer to the cinema territory and the development of the classic absurdist Dada collage; from a technical point of view, this project is an exploration of the p5.js' multimedia capabilities.

Coding the Animation The animation prototype was made in After Effects, then the coordinates and angle of rotation changes for each element were exported to a data file. When playing a movie, the algorithm reads this data frame by frame and animates the scene.

Elements Library The audiovisual library, from which the algorithm selects parts for the assembly of each movie, contains over 400 elements: 92 celebrity eyes, 63 noses, 78 mouths, 66 hairstyles, 5 body types (hereinafter within each type there are several options for elements), 12 bikini types, 7 weapon types, 9 badge types, 4 necklace types, 5 sound types and 4 different bangs.
