Prompt: Made in 10 minutes

This entry for Genuary 2023, Day 2 was supposed to take 10 minutes. Turns out the idea took less than 10 minutes to sketch out, but it took more like 2 hours to fully implement. More about Genuary here: https://genuary.art/

I wanted to abstract a warp/marble type effect that I used to create textiles designs for https://glitchtextiles.com/covid-19. The concepts were things I'd templated before, and worked out in Java. Porting them over to javascript should have been fairly simple. What should have been mostly copy paste, edit, became almost a complete rebuild from scratch.

What's going on under the hood:

1. Lines are drawn, colored based on hue range. All of this randomized.
2. A band, orthogonal to the orientation of the lines, is selected for warping based on a Perlin noise function.
3. The whole piece is then warped again along the original orientation of the lines.

The piece may change with different window sizes. It's a feature, not a bug!
