Gedankenautomatik is the first in a series of smaller artworks of mine. The idea of the series is to produce small but well executed projects that show off a basic aspect. In the case of Gedankenautomatik this concept is to use a very simple cell automata to generate simple yet beautiful images.

Each minted image varies in the following features:

• Rarity (which color palette should be used.)
• Size (Smaller is better)
• Characteristic (Directly influence how the image can look)
