Description
Ganymede is the largest moon in the Solar System, and nearly as large as the Earth. Its surface exhibits many fine cracks and fissures, thought to be caused by tidal heating due to the influence of nearby Jupiter. But, on closer inspection, one may see the effects of life on the surface patterning. In this animation, we see first an initial outward wave of activity, followed by a period of vigorous bubbling of interactive competition, and then finally intelligent structuring of the surface, leaving behind arcane symbols etched in the ice.
