Description

In a gripping psychological-dramatic thriller, the five distinct personalities of YŌKAI—Kage, the shadowy representation of inner fears; Hikari, the luminous symbol of hope; Rikō, the embodiment of rational order; Mugen, the fluid dreamer of imagination; and Strike, the formidable warrior of action—are transported into an abstract black-and-white world, where shapes and forms are open to interpretation. As they traverse this enigmatic realm, their interactions and conflicts manifest through shifting monochromatic patterns, with each personality imposing its own influence on the environment. The journey toward convergence forces these absurd facets to confront their inner turmoil and work toward a unified existence. This narrative delves into the complexities of identity and the transformative power of integration against a stark, visually striking backdrop.

Descriptions of the five YŌKAI personalities: 1. Kage – The Shadow: Kage represents the darkest, most repressed aspects of the psyche. Often seen as an amorphous, menacing form in the abstract world, Kage embodies fear and unresolved guilt, blending into the surrounding darkness and challenging others with his ever-changing, menacing presence.

  1. Hikari – The Light: Hikari symbolizes clarity, optimism, and hope. In the abstract realm, Hikari appears as a radiant, luminous figure who cuts through the monochromatic chaos, revealing hidden details and providing moments of insight and enlightenment with his bright, flowing forms.

  2. Rikō – The Rational: Rikō is defined by logic, order, and analytical thinking. This personality brings structure to the abstract world, transforming chaotic shapes into understandable patterns. Rikō’s form is characterized by clean geometric lines and a methodical approach to interpreting abstract space.

  3. Mugen – The Dreamer: Mugen embodies creativity, imagination, and the fluid nature of dreams. In the black and white world, Mugen’s form is ever-changing and surreal, reflecting the whimsical and unpredictable qualities of the subconscious with fluid, shifting forms.

  4. Strike – The Warrior: Strike represents courage, strength, and determination. This personality is characterized by a dynamic and forceful presence, actively interacting with abstract forms and other personalities. Tsubasa’s robust and assertive form symbolizes action and resilience.
