I used to fear those old black and white photographs in my grandmother's house. I wondered who the people were and what they were doing. The longer I looked at them, the more they shifted. And so did my perception of them, and they started appearing in my dreams. Today, I still feel the same when I look at old photographs. This hand drawn animated GIF is an approach to recreate that feeling.
