the piece consists of a flashing gesture that lights up and lets color pass through, this gesture is then dragged across the canvas with slit-scan techniques. the modulating texture that drags the gesture is a chain of gradients that push the pixels around. this modulating texture is then self-modulated by a random crop of the main texture from this simple chain complex and ever evolving patterns and trajectories emerge
