"Zion"

This photo was taken on top of the famous Waimea Bay cliff on the North Shore of Oahu. If you're a local, this is the place to be. I ran up on the cliff with my camera and this kid, Zion, was watching the older kids jump off and into the water 15 feet below. Zion was mustering up the courage to take the leap. Although you can't see his face, you feel like you're sitting there with him. As the sun starts to set, everyone on the beach stops what they're doing. People of all ages sit atop that rock, sharing stories, laughing and coming together as a community to appreciate the Aloha spirit. There's nothing else like it in the world.
