The deep-rooted connection of rain, football and the city of Calcutta is nothing less than a love triangle!

A walk down memory lane on the Streets of Calcutta in the middle of torrential rain has always been a rewarding experience - I spotted this beautiful moment yesterday in the middle of a narrow by-lane in North Calcutta while the entire city was seeking shelter in the comfort of their homes!

My Calcutta resides in the "aroma" of sweat of a fatigued rickshaw-pullers in the narrow by-lanes of Girish Park, my Calcutta makes me walk down the happening streets of Bow Barracks during Christmas, my Calcutta bestows me with the ecstacy of Holi celebrations on a Rolls Royce at the Burrabazar, my Calcutta guides me to the tranquility of the Magen David, my Calcutta takes me down to the abandoned jetties on a gloomy day and inspires me to RISK MY CAMERA GEAR to capture these nostalgic moments in the middle of torrential rain!
