Description

Registrations of natural inks, from Bosque Gracias plants. This series is a project of documenting color as an immaterial value of the forest. This nft collaborates and ensures the protection of a native forest in Patagonia Argentina.

This small color palette describes the humid niche of late summer. The yellow is from "white mint" or "hairy mint" as it is known to the locals. Its botanical name is Pycnanthemum verticillatum, an opportunistic herb in orchards and roadsides. We do not use it for infusions because we prefer another variety, so it is the right one to extract such a precious yellow. Harvesting is before or after flowering. The bluish tone of the upper edge is thanks to the union of the Maqui ink - Aristotelia Chilensis. Plant: Hairy Mint - Pycnanthemum verticillatum Part of the plant: Leaf Method: boiling Amount of water: efficient Season: Spring / summer

This registration is part of the artistic residency that we propose in Bosque, gracias - "Junta de Tintes".
