During the lockdown period, I was introduced to generative art on demand. I start making works in this new format.

Funerary Stelae have been used in the Near East, Mesopotamia, Greece, Egypt, Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia…

The work of art Estelas tries to make the same recognition to those who died from the covid-19.

The idea is to digitally paint faces using trails of the virus.

These faces are a tribute to those deceased people.

The faces are sketches of what those people were. The sketches represent how the trail of covid-19 deconstructs the real image of the individual.

Thus, attention is now fixed on: the plasticity, the simplicity of the line and the combination of colors.
