In an electrifying display of artistic prowess, Morano transformed the McClelland Gallery Sculpture Park into a living canvas. Using pre-made digital brushes inspired by Australian nature and a palette of light, he painted several dreamlike forest scenes in real-time, projecting each stroke onto an outdoor gallery wall and the Peter Corlett, Tarax play sculpture.
The artwork, a captivating blend of colors and textures, featured ghostly gum trees entwined with native australian shrubs. The live projection offered a glimpse into Morano's creative process, as the forest seemed to materialize before the audience's eyes. This mesmerizing performance showcased the power of art to transport and inspire. It was a testament to Morano's talent and a celebration of creativity in all its forms.
Morano acknowledges the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which the performance took place.
