Every being is made up of layers: on the surface, there is the image we have of ourselves, an image that we often think of as rational and objective. Next, there is the image we project to others, which is increasingly exaggerated in a society that is becoming more digital every day. It is a smooth, colorful image, as if everyone's life tends towards a perfection, which seems completely impossible to achieve, leading to a certain sadness within. Finally, the last layer, the most important: the one of our emotions, which we often try to hide or bury. A few of us have the courage to feel and understand that very last one. Emotions are the key to our humanity; they do not lie, telling us intrinsically who we are to ourselves and to others. They are then a daily challenge to feel alive and more at peace. In a simple way, they guide us to true happiness.
Those who feel, know, and those who know, adjust.
