Descending Cellular Automata, a form of 1D Cellular Automata.

The first line is initialized with a random set of values between 0 - 255. New cell values are determined by taking the average of its neighbors and adding value to the average. If the new value exceeds a certain point it wraps back around to zero creating some interesting, colorful, and strong patterns.

Clicking the image continues or pauses the generation.

There are 4 resolution sizes and 38 colorways.
