Generative art often involves finding a balance between clean cut code and pseudo-chaos, all created with rules. In this collection, I looked to represent this process within each single work. Each piece transitions from an orderly system to a chaotic, more pseudo-organic system by increasing the deviation from the rules which guide it.

Chaos is created by offsetting size and position, color deviance, and uncontrolled repetition.

Degradient is a short-form generative art series created with p5.js and chroma.js.
