Description

My photography journey began 10 years ago in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

I lived and worked in Lake Louise for a summer season. I scrimped and saved all of my tip money and bought my first DSLR camera. I had no idea what I was doing, but with a little help from a friend and the internet I learned the basics of how to use it. I became fascinated with capturing the beauty of the natural world.

I spent all my free time in the mountains shooting photos. Getting up for sunrises, staying up for sunsets, there was nothing I would rather have spent my time doing. I look back on those photos sometimes and think of how far I've come.

Recently returning to where it all started brought a wave of emotions over me. The scenes were just as as magnificent as I remembered and it was a great reminder of why I started to pursue photography in the first place. This will always be my passion.

This image was photographed and curated by Vincent Schnabl, photographer based out of Canada.
