Before/After is a collection of 256 generative artworks released on fx(hash) in June 2022 [1]. The generative algorithm of Before/After visualizes t-SNE by drawing lines between each data point in an input data set and the corresponding point in the t-SNE-transformed output data.

The Before/After Concepts are a collection of ten manually curated outputs generated from an early live demo. This live demo was written to test implementing t-SNE in AssemblyScript for maximum performance, and the first functioning version of this code was posted publicly on JSFiddle [2]. The Before/After token published on fx(hash) uses the same AssemblyScript code for t-SNE but has been substantially modified with respect to visual styling and the types of input data used for t-SNE transformation.
