Caught in the maelstrom

Description

An ever-growing vortex consisting of lots of different mesh lines that move in unison.

Clicking the canvas will trigger a boost in speed and line size, and produce a random chord by the main synth.

Holding down your pointer will reverse the vortex and play an additional synth on release. Double tapping will have the same effect audio-wise.

This is part of the celebration of fxhash turning 1. That’s why there are 365 editions, and 50% of all primary sales will be donated evenly between “Processing Foundation” and “Three.js”. 20% of all royalties are given back to the minter.

Here are some stats for you:

About 1/10 will render the lines in wireframes. There are 2 different synth pitches distributed evenly. 10% will have one single line color, instead of 3 primary ones. In rough measures, every 4th will have an irregular wiggle motion flow instead of a circular one.

In addition to all of the above, there can be different values in regards to line counts, line lengths, line widths, speeds, width grows, radius increments, angle increments, z-index increments, background colors, border colors, and so on.
