Title: Can Ai Save Nature? 02
About the work: In Veronica Kuri’s series CAN AI SAVE NATURE?, Kuri asks the viewer to consider whether AI and all of its advancements can potentially save nature as humans are actively destroying it. While these days, humanity lacks empathy on a global scale, can AI potentially change the course of our future to align with saving the planet Earth–and all of the nature with which we coexist? Details (dimension, medium, year): 3840 x 2160 Medium: Ai using Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, blended with a Micrograph of a Rose petal. April 2023
With all the new advancements in Ai from art, video, chat gp3 etc. Can it be able to save Nature which we as humans are destroying? Will Ai have more empathy than us ? Because with all of our “Human intelligence” our capability for love, compasión and empathy we haven’t done such a great job nor with each other or the place we live, that which is our home which is Earth, the plants, animals and everything that lives among us, we are all connected and if Nature is being destroyed then we are destroying ourselves. So I wonder if Ai can save it ? Or can we use Ai for good, to help solve problems and not destroy each other. Can we use Ai as a partner in saving nature? Or perhaps in the near future Ai will determine for itself to save it. What do you think?
Can AI Save Nature? is part of the exhibition ALGORITHMIC EMPATHY. THE PROMISES OF AI, presented by EXPANDED.ART and VerticalCrypto Art at EXPANDED.ART in Berlin, 18-23 April, 2023.
16 artists explore the vast potential of future relationships between AI and creative expression to hypothesize on the not-so-distant future.
In a world where technological advancements happen in the blink of an eye, AI is being pointed to in the cultural zeitgeist as an example of a potentially bleak and ominous future. It is worth considering, however, the ways computers and machine learning can push forward creativity, human connection and philosophical dialogues.
