Description

Brutalist architecture is a phenomenon that started in the 1950s, after the war we had to rebuild. The style is focused on showcasing minimalist and raw materials.

To this style, I am adding bare expressionism, with a clear message. This is where the colors come in. The concrete is so grey and cold. So I am painting the day in the colors of warmth and love, I do not want my day to be grey. I want to be free to go for a stroll in the city, sit in the nature, go somewhere and be me.

We need to put focus on loneliness and mental health. We grow up in a world, where you are constantly being told, that you must be social. You must be great at being around people all day and every day.

The truth is that just about half of us are not as social as others, this is human evolution. Evolution dictates we have to be different, to secure our species. Instead of acknowledging this, we are currently building our societies in a way, that makes us all more similar. The only way you could possibly claim this to have success is at punishing the people who stand out. These people already struggled their entire lives from standing out from social norms.

Note some of us are good at enjoying our own company, but there are also people who can barely spend an hour alone. From enjoying to be alone often, to being lonely there is a gap as well. Our world is filled with people, who are hidden away in our concrete cities, sitting alone in the dark.

There are people who need help, and love every day, who simply cannot get either. We need to start considering human personality and uplifting difference. We are not meant to be the same, there is value in differences and we should appreciate individual strengths.
