This is North Carolina’s state flower, where I live, and I painted this tree that is in my front yard. With its dark green foliage surrounded by flower clusters, the White Dogwood's display of delicate flowers each year is a most welcome sight. Capturing just a part of this beauty was a blessing to paint.
