This work captures the intimate tension between duality and unity — between nature and identity, growth and disintegration. At its core stands a vibrant, surreal tree with arterial branches in red, orange, and brown, symbolizing both organic vitality and existential branching. Yet, the tree is flanked by two human-like silhouettes — faceless, violet, and fragmented — their interiors filled with contrasting symbols: one adorned with coral-like growths, the other with geometric debris.

These purple figures appear to have merged with the tree and yet remain distinct — like two versions of the self rooted in a common core but experiencing divergent evolutions. One side reflects organic continuity, the other, a rupture and the intrusion of artificial elements (symbolized by the white squares). The silver-grey void surrounding them isolates the figures in a psychological space — like beings trapped in a suspended mental plane.

This piece interrogates the complex relationships between inner and outer worlds, natural evolution versus imposed identities, and the fragmentation that occurs when we try to grow while carrying unresolved dichotomies within us.
