Description
This work is about celebration as performance. A room filled with bodies, color, alcohol, and costumes—yet completely devoid of intimacy.
I painted joy as something worn, not felt. Desire as something displayed, not shared. And death as the only honest guest at the table.
The figures coexist without touching each other emotionally. They drink, pose, smile, and endure. The skeleton is not a shock element—it’s a mirror. A reminder of what remains when repetition replaces meaning.
This is how rituals survive when belief is gone. Loud colors. Familiar symbols. Empty gestures.
A party that refuses to end, even though everyone inside is already tired.
