An unforeseen fog drifted in Chandubi into the dusty water alone in the conundrum of shadows , A palpitate of engines moved in it , At length , a stone throw away , between the shores one by one moving across the boats .

Out of the conundrum, shadows , fishing nets, trailing each other , following the ridge of guidance , Holding a challenging path between the menace of the river fog and the Spume on the granite shore . One by one, , the throb of our engines subdued by the fog patient and cautious , coasting all round the island “

Located about 65 km from commercial capital of Assam, India lies on the the foot of the Garo hills is the Chandubi Lake. It was formed as a result of the 1897 earthquake in Assam and best time to visit is in Dec-February when there is fog .
