Have you ever experienced the eclosion of a butterfly? Approximately 28 days after starting its life as an egg, the Monarch butterfly emerges from its chrysalis as a fully-developed adult. This moment is, for the attentive observer, full of magnetism and it may even trigger introspective questions about beauty, change and life. When I took this series of pictures, I waited for hours to capture the exact moment of the eclosion. Now, I want to share it with you.
