“Best Before” is a series of AI-generated collages exploring the absurdity and violence of the male gaze. Paper-cut women from an other time, are hybridized with edible symbols: brussels sprouts, noodles, cheese. A surreal menu where femininity is stylized, aged, consumed, and discarded. These bodies are served with expiration dates. At the crossroads of food fetish, vintage media and digital mutation, this series questions what it means to be “ripe,” “fresh,” or “too much” in a world that objectifies and commodifies femininity.
