Originally created in 2007 from the illustration "Pneumatic Anatomica", the Balloon Dog Anatomy first found notoriety as an inside cover illustration in Hi-Fructose Magazine. It was later included as a poster pullout in the retrospective hard cover edition. While not his first fictional anatomy, "Pneumatic Anatomica" was Jason Freeny's award winning illustration that pioneered a genre. In 2010 this piece was developed into an 8" anatomical model/toy and can still be found online today.
