"Pflicht" (duty) is the 3rd picture from the series "Ballast" (burden). A series about all the crosses every human has to bear on his/her own.

"Pflicht" in particular speaks about expectations and duties that are being put on us, either by ourselves or by other people, and that, no matter how important they seem, can still drag us down to a considerable extent in our life.
