Artwork by Maša Gala for the Art Cycle project / GO! 2025. On the border between Nova Gorica and Gorizia, international artists are transforming the main traffic routes with urban ground murals, turning footpaths, cycle lanes, and crossings into spaces that promote sustainable mobility. - Masa Gala works across painting, glass installations, printmaking, and photography. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, earning the Prešeren Prize in 2010, and later studied photography at UMPRUM in Prague. Since 2012 she has exhibited solo in Slovenia and abroad. Her practice explores memory, presence, and the dialogue between artwork and viewer through layered images and diverse media. She lives and works in Ljubljana.
