Hawa opened her eyes between darkness and light. From the depth of shadows to the hidden crimson glow of the moon, she remembered herself a “fetus” standing at the edge of being and non-being. The eclipse left its scarlet mark upon her face, the seal of existence pressed upon her skin. And she was born aware, accepting to transform the burning seal of life into compassion and humanity, to shine endlessly like the sun, in love and kindness.
This artwork is a fusion of physical painting, digital composition, and real photography taken during the last total lunar eclipse (September 7–8, 2025) — the moon image is authentically rendered within the piece.
“Hawa” is a real story a girl born with a lunar birthmark covering half her face, like many others who carry the mark of the moon on their skin. She lives with love and grace, in a world that sometimes points its fingers in mockery at her crimson sign…! #𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗔𝗿𝘁 ☀️🌱 #1of1SZN
