Space, Aliens and Distant planets have long ignited pop culture’s imagination—from sci-fi books to long-standing film franchises to concept albums—leading to a particularly rich glut of reference points for designers to draw on, I take my inspiration from the same. This is the most exciting category where one can show their imagination and vivid designs – “Not from here” for me is taking on the challenge of heading out into the universe, which translates into brightly colored clothes fit for only the most galactic of women. I have infused dramatic proportioning and human -cyborg fantasies which seem like the logical inheritors of the space-age tradition.

AIFW is a new fashion-based community event organized by @FAICmag. This event brings together a community of talented creators who are pushing the boundaries of fashion by using AI technology to create bespoke themed pieces inspired by six distinct themes: Wearable Architecture, Plastic Playground, Acid Dystopia, Candyland, Not from here, and Gaia. Each theme will be interpreted by different artists through the lens of AI text-to-image generation, offering a new perspective on the intersection of fashion and technology.
