My take on the Plastic Playground theme is all about “Sustainable fashion”, not only that which is environmentally friendly, but it is ethical fashion. Ethical fashion is that which produces conscious clothing, that is made by people who are treated fairly and with respect. Ethical fashion is that which is not made from the skins and bodies of animals. This more intersectional approach to what sustainable fashion truly means is important, and it is the future of ethical clothing. This idea of eco-conscious, ethical fashion is a powerful style statement itself. ——————-

AIFW is a new fashion-based community event organized by @FAICmag. This event brings together a community of talented creators who are pushing the boundaries of fashion by using AI technology to create bespoke themed pieces inspired by six distinct themes: Wearable Architecture, Plastic Playground, Acid Dystopia, Candyland, Not from here, and Gaia. Each theme will be interpreted by different artists through the lens of AI text-to-image generation, offering a new perspective on the intersection of fashion and technology.
