Afantasía es un proyecto de acciones e instalaciones en la playa basado en un gesto simple y repetitivo: construir una forma con arena y conservar el vacío que deja su extracción. Explora la relación entre imaginación, ausencia e impermanencia a través de esta acción. Nace del miedo a crecer y perder la imaginación y que el paso hacia la adultez transforme el juego en algo improductivo, innecesario o imposible. Las fotografías, videos e imágenes digitales que conforman Afantasía funcionan como registros y extensiones de una misma investigación: aquello que se transforma al crecer, el valor de lo efímero y la posibilidad de imaginar tanto de manera individual como colectiva.

Afantasía is an action and installation project set on a beach, based on a simple and repetitive gesture: building a form with sand and preserving the void left by its extraction. It explores the relationship between imagination, absence, and impermanence through this action. The project stems from the fear of growing up and losing imagination, the fear that the transition into adulthood may transform play into something unproductive, unnecessary, or impossible. The photographs, videos, and digital images that make up Afantasía function as both documentation and extensions of the same investigation: an exploration of what changes as we grow older, the value of the ephemeral, and the possibility of imagining both individually and collectively.
