Inner Process explores the quiet, continuous dialogue that exists within the self. Rooted in my connection with nature, this work combines charcoal and ink drawing with digital layering to embed handwritten text directly into the body and surrounding space.
The female figure suggests a meditative, yogic state—symbolizing awareness, stillness, and inner balance. Bird forms and organic elements emerge as extensions of thought, representing instinct, movement, and transformation. The typography is intentionally imperfect and layered, functioning as an internal voice rather than decorative text.
Through accumulation, repetition, and texture, the work reflects how thoughts, memories, and emotions exist within us—shaping our identity over time. This piece invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and engage with their own inner process of growth, healing, and becoming. My practice moves between hand and digital, where drawing becomes a space for introspection. I begin with organic, hand-drawn forms using charcoal and ink, allowing intuition to guide the structure. I then integrate handwritten text as a second layer—an internal language that exists within the figure rather than outside it.
In Inner Process, I explore how thoughts and emotions are embedded in the body. The figure is not a portrait, but a state of being—calm, aware, and continuously evolving. Natural elements such as birds act as extensions of the inner self, suggesting movement, freedom, and transformation.
The typography is deliberately fragmented and imperfect, reflecting the nature of inner dialogue—repetitive, layered, and often unresolved. For me, words are not separate from form; they function as texture, memory, and voice.
This work is an exploration of self-awareness, patience, and the ongoing process of becoming. It does not offer resolution, but instead holds space for reflection and inner balance. #617gallery
