In Greek mythology, Thalia (Θάλεια, lit. 'the joyous, the flourishing') is the Olympian Muse presiding over comedy and idyllic poetry; the Nine Muses are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, figuring as personifications of knowledge and the arts.
The main colours in this artwork are vibrant reds, sunny yellows and lively greens, representing joy, laughter and excitement of life.
